Look forward to seven exciting rounds of duels in a unique 2-vs-2 tournament format, questions ranging from easy to tricky about the magical world of Harry Potter, and plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded people. Unlike traditional pub quizzes, you won’t be sitting at the same table all evening—instead, you’ll face off against new teams round after round.

This naturally leads to conversations, new friendships, and a quiz night you’re guaranteed to have never experienced before.

Put your Harry Potter knowledge to the test

What is Harry’s Patronus? What subject did Dumbledore teach before he became headmaster? And how do you actually get into the kitchens at Hogwarts? Put your knowledge from the books and movies to the test and find out who the biggest Potterheads of the evening are.

Whether you’re absolute experts or just love the magical world of Harry Potter—the focus is on having fun together and enjoying an unforgettable evening.

Here’s how the quiz works

• 2 people per team

• 7 head-to-head rounds of 18 questions each using the Swiss system

• Each team uses one smartphone

• Duration: approx. 20–30 minutes per duel round

After each duel round, the matchups are randomly reassigned.

Thanks to the Swiss system, you’ll mostly be competing against teams with a similar point total. This keeps the tournament exciting right up to the final round—whether you’re competing for the overall victory or just looking to have a fun evening.

Meet new people while having fun

Our big quiz duel is more than just a quiz. After each round of duels, you’ll switch tables and face a new opposing team. This automatically puts you in conversation with other Harry Potter fans, lets you discuss tricky questions, and helps you meet people who share your passion.

It’s totally relaxed and casual.

Collectible participation certificates, awesome trophies, and more

At the end of the evening, each team receives a personalized participation certificate in a trading card design—perfect as a memento of your quiz night. The top three teams will also receive a high-quality glass trophy and be inducted into our Hall of Fame .

And even the team in last place won’t go home empty-handed: the legendary “Golden Pile” is already waiting for a new home.

Battle of the Cities

This quiz is part of our Battle of the Cities. The same Harry Potter quiz will be played in several cities within a week—in some cases even simultaneously. At the end, we’ll compare the results from all the cities and crown the city with the biggest Harry Potter fans. We’ll raffle off three event vouchers, each worth 25 €, among all teams from the winning city.
