Das KoKi zeigt: Ich will alles - Hildegard Knef

With her roles in the German post-war films "Die Mörder sind unter uns" (1946) and "Die Sünderin" (1950), Hildegard Knef rose to become the first German film star after the war and then also conquered Broadway in the mid-1950s. From 1963, she made her breakthrough as a celebrated chanson singer. Luzia Schmid's documentary primarily gives the artist herself a chance to speak, in sentences from her autobiographical books - spoken off-screen by Nina Kunzendorf. She is also seen in television interviews and in concert and film clips. The film's title reveals a lot about this woman's will to assert herself: "I have ambition, I will keep it. It accompanies me like a love that has good and bad days."
