In the organizer's words:

"Das Konvolut" is a seven-piece ensemble from Leipzig that has existed since 2020 and aims to inspire its audience with a refreshing genre mix of funk, jazz and Afrobeat.

With rhythmic richness, driving brass sections and carefully crafted arrangements, the band creates music that is as inviting to dance to as it is to listen to.
The different musical backgrounds of the individual band members are also reflected in their compositions.

They combine this diversity with a preference for playful rhythms with traditional influences and the energetic freedom of improvised music to create their own pulsating sound.
