In the organizer's words:
Order is not an inherent property of the world. It is a human activity. It arises through naming, through repetition, through agreement. Every system promises clarity. Every structure creates new exceptions. Every safeguard requires yet another safeguard. The works in this exhibition do not explore chaos. They explore the attempt to abolish chaos once and for all.
A circus of thoughts meets a defense mechanism. Painting meets sculpture. “Life is a sausage salad, and I’m a vegetarian.” Warmest recommendations and a heartfelt invitation to our opening reception on August 12 at the Bierle Bar, Schlossbergring 1, Freiburg im Breisgau. Musical entertainment starting at 7 p.m. by Industrieparkost. The bar will be open throughout the event. We look forward to seeing you there 🫶
