"What happens in the staff room stays in the staff room," says Carla Nowak in an interview with the school newspaper. Even if this is just wishful thinking for the teacher at this point. It is her first job and she is committed to teaching math and PE in year seven. Things are going well and she is able to motivate the youngsters. When a series of thefts occur at school and one of her pupils is soon suspected, Carla is outraged and decides to get to the bottom of the matter herself. But the case isn't so easy to solve and spreads. Carla quickly earns a reputation among her colleagues for being idealistic, she has to answer questions from outraged parents and mediate between quarrelling pupils. The more she tries to do everything right, the more she pushes herself to her limits. The school system is thrown off balance.

Flingern-Lichtspiele

The summer open-air cinema at the Filmwerkstatt. Every Thursday and Saturday in August, we show eight films on the terrace behind the building. The projections start after dark, admission is from 21:00. Folding chairs and deckchairs are available and there is a bar. Free admission, donations welcome.
