Das moa theater präsentiert "Helges Leben" im Von-Alten-Garten in Hannover-Linden

Nobody asked to be born. Least of all Helge. Emotions determine his life; one feeling in particular comes to the fore. The moa theater presents Sibylle Berg's play "Helge's Life", which is as wicked as it is funny, in September at the Von-Alten-Garten in Hanover-Linden.

Sometime in the not-too-distant future: humanity has died out without much resistance, the animals have taken over. God and death exist only as an entertainment program for raccoons, deer and co. Today they show an old human life: Helge's life.

This is actually colossally unspectacular, because Helge is just a sad little man among many sad little men. But in all its mediocrity, this human life also bears witness to the challenges that life brings. It's about emotions and missed opportunities and the big question: what if everything had turned out differently?

Sibylle Berg's play is a cynical fable about failure and the frightening banality of existence. Wonderfully absurd and hilarious.
