The first flowers are already blooming again and the trees are producing their first leaves. The open air season is almost within reach. There is a feeling that there will be a lot of events to sweeten our time this year. It's going to be a great summer!

The night mayors of Heidelberg & Mannheim and EvntKultur Rhein-Neckar have come together to ensure that everyone, newcomers and old hands alike, is well equipped to organize and stage their own events. The result is a three-part series of workshops designed to provide you with the most important information and expertise.

The following topics will be covered:

Noise protection | 26.04. 16 - 20 h | Halle02

In this workshop, you will learn how effective soundproofing can be achieved on a budget. Starting with the correct alignment of the PA through to the correct use of limiters. This will ensure that you can get through the summer without any noise complaints and, in the best case, convince your neighbors of your event.

Sustainability | 14.05. 17 - 20 h | MAFINEX

Everything here revolves around waste avoidance and the right choice of materials for your event. Because nothing is more annoying than a totally littered dance floor and the time-consuming clean-up afterwards. So it's better to do everything you can from the outset to ensure that as little waste as possible is produced at your events.

Since something unforeseen can always happen despite all efforts, we would like to prepare you for the most important legal aspects of open air events with this module.
