Three women. Four men. Seven telephones. And the question: how well do these friends and couples really know each other? As they discuss honesty over dinner, they decide to play a game: they all put their smartphones on the table and everything that comes in is shared. Messages are read out, phone calls are listened to out loud, every little WhatsApp is shown. What begins as harmless fun soon degenerates into an emotional mess - full of surprising twists and turns and delicate revelations, from secret affairs (even among those present) to sexual fantasies and the inevitable outing. Because there are more secrets and life lies in the seemingly perfect circle of friends than could have been expected at the start of the game ...

"The idea was to sketch this secret life that we can't reveal," explained Genovese shortly after the film's press screening in Rome. "Until 20 years ago, our secrets were kept inside us, today they are buried in our cell phones, which have become a bit like our black boxes." The result is an acerbic social comedy - full of wit and biting wit!
