PARTICIPATORY THEATER

Freely adapted from the Grimm fairy tale.

Flatsch! With one stroke, the little tailor catches seven flies. The little tailor is overwhelmed by his heroic deed and wants to proclaim it to the world. He sews himself a belt that reads: "7 at a stroke". He meets a king who sets him difficult tasks, but offers him half his kingdom and his daughter, the princess, as a reward for his help.

What is participatory theater?

Play-along theater is a special form of theater in which an experienced actor tells a fairy tale and slips into the various fairy tale characters and roles.

The children experience the great art of acting at first hand, namely the role change - which the actor performs on stage in front of them. They can not only listen to the fairy tale with rapt attention, but also actively participate. They can call out their thoughts and ideas to the player on stage, who spontaneously integrates these impulses into the story. The children can also take part in many parts on stage themselves! This creates an interactive and lively theater play between the storyteller and the children.
