Neuroscientist Dr. Adam Haar Horowitz, who has a long-standing collaboration with artist Nicole L'Huillier, will give a lecture as part of Rehearsal Room on 26.06.2026. Afterwards he will talk to Nicole L'Huillier about their joint work, the conversation will be moderated by Dr. Christina Landbrecht.

We sleep for a third of our lives. For neuroscientist and DUST founder Adam Haar Horowitz, sleep is therefore a central subject of scientific research. But not only that; for him, sleep or waking sleep is closely linked to creativity and inventiveness. His research therefore focuses on the hypnagogic state - the threshold between wakefulness and sleep - in which ideas arise that are associative, fluid and only marginally determined by logical structures. In his lecture, the neuroscientist will present both his research and the tools he has developed to identify and control this unique state of consciousness.
