DATSCHA PARTY

The Djs and Vjs of the "Datscha-Projekt" from Hamburg, St. Petersburg and Moscow have made it their task to spread Eastern European joie de vivre by means of live sound system and exciting video animations and to transform every launch into a place where everyone can feel at home.
The result is a party of a special kind: the music of the Russian pub orchestra kids, Balkan Electro French polkas and swing, merge and trigger collective dancing until the sandman.
The whole thing is accompanied by an unusual live video mix, where video snippets from Russian movies from the 20s to the 80s populate the screens with mold-riding beauties, singing rabbits and flying construction workers.

Facebook entry dated 2/24/22: "We, the makers of the Dacha Project, are from Russia and are Russian citizens. Like many of our compatriots who never voted for and never supported the fascist Putin regime, we say clearly at this point: Not in our name! Our solidarity today is unconditionally with our Ukrainian brothers and sisters. Down with the war! Those who instigated it are war criminals and belong before a war crimes tribunal."
