Eleven-year-old Santino is a circus kid. His home is a caravan that is always somewhere else, while his large family of siblings, parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents provide stability. He has a special relationship with his great-grandfather, one of the last great circus directors in Germany, who passionately tells stories from the past, both beautiful and sad, which, together with lovingly drawn animations, bring magic into everyday life. A documentary road movie about the lives of Germany's last nomads, awarded the 2026 German Film Prize for Best Children's Film. FSK: from 0, recommended from 10 years.
