DAV Sommerfest

High altitude air in the middle of Hamburg!

We are celebrating our big DAV summer party with an open day at the DAV climbing center Hamburg in Döhrnstraße 4 on Sat. 11.07.26 from 12-18 o'clock and welcome you to a day full of fun, climbing and community!

Mountain sports enthusiasts and the curious can discover the world of climbing and club life free of charge . In addition to taster climbing and crate climbing, the summer festival offers you insights into the diverse and inclusive club activities with exciting information stands. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can take the Steiger up high and try your hand at abseiling. You can also pick up bargains at the mountain sports flea market or try out new climbing equipment at the Testival. Children's face painting provides an extra dose of color. If you get hungry from slacklining, you can fortify yourself with cheese noodles and crêpes. Of course, the popular raffle with great prizes will also be back!

Come along and bring your friends and family. It's the best way to enjoy the summer and learn more about mountain sports and our club life at the same time. How to get there: The climbing center is easy to reach by bike, with parking available directly on the premises. Public transport stops are the Hagenbecks Tierpark subway station or the Oddernskamp bus stop. Limited free parking spaces are available for car drivers at the climbing center.
