A tribute to the 10th anniversary of the death of a music legend

David Bowie was more than a musician - he was a visionary, a style icon and a border crosser. With "David Bowie Symphony", we celebrate his legacy in a form that combines orchestral grandeur with pure rock energy. The powerful sounds of orchestral and rock music merge into an energetic live experience to honor this truly exceptional artist and his multifaceted music - respectful, detailed and with great emotional depth. The short documentary at the beginning of the show, in which people from Bowie's circle, including close friends and collaborators, share their memories of him with the audience, creates a particularly intimate atmosphere.

In a career spanning almost 50 years, David Bowie constantly reinvented himself and his music, experimenting with genres and showing his natural talent for musical innovation in every song. His range was correspondingly huge: from energetic songs with a clear 80s vibe like "Let's Dance" to very artistic and atmospheric works like "Space Oddity". Pure rock sounds, as can be heard in "Rebel Rebel", were just as much a part of his repertoire as upbeat songs like "Heroes" or "Modern Love". Music was David Bowie's DNA - just two days before his death, he released his last album "Blackstar", which is characterized by a dark atmosphere.

From "Space Oddity" and "Heroes" to "Life on Mars?" and "Let's Dance": the greatest Bowie moments are reinterpreted with lush orchestral colors and the power of a live band. Singer Milan Devinne expands his concert project "Mr. Bowie - The Reality Show", with which he pays homage to his life's work, to include symphonic soundscapes and lets Bowie's songs shine in new, powerful arrangements. Devinne convinces with an extraordinary vocal range, deep respect for the original and a presence that makes the emotional facets of Bowie's art tangible. With this show we honor David Bowie as an exceptional artist and fashion icon, our ensemble presents you with a symphony of timeless songs and an authentic performance with costumes true to the original.
