With his new program "Von Tränen und Tropfen - Lieder für unerschrockene Herzen", chansonnier David Kaiser brings poetry and sound with a touch of melancholy to the stage. The audience can look forward to a unique evening: chansons and humorous, sometimes absurd everyday stories.

With a keen sense of observation and his unmistakable voice, Kaiser sings and tells stories about one of the most fundamental human emotions - longing. He draws on a repertoire of classic and modern chansons and combines them with short stories that transport the audience into a world full of bizarre moments.

"Longing is a taste we all know," explains Kaiser. "And for me, it tastes like red wine and cigarette smoke - tart, warming, a little ephemeral and full of memories of good times."
