In the organizer's words:

deathcrash are a four-piece slowcore band from London. Although they rose to fame alongside other great South London bands such as Black Country New Road, Jerskin Fendrix, Sorry and Black Midi, deathcrash have always had a mysterious energy all of their own, like shy kids in the corner quietly creating something great.

In January 2022, they released their debut album "Return", a 65-minute statement that was praised by Loud and Quiet magazine as "a wealth of musical richness matched only by the depth of associations that permeate the album".

Not content with this, the band moved to the Outer Hebrides just six months after this release to record 'Less', their second album, which is a focused and streamlined evolution of their sound. "Less" has been highly praised by Pitchfork, Line of Best Fit, Brooklyn Vegan, So Young, Louder Than War and Loud and Quiet and has been played not only on BBC Radio 1 but also on other stations in the UK and EU. It reached number 76 on the NACC Top 200 in the USA.

The band's live shows are visceral, intense and precise. Far Out Magazine named them the best live band of the year in 2023 and their London shows were always sold out. The band has toured with Codeine, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Black Country, New Road.
