An evening in the finest company with a cucumber sandwich or sandwich and everything that fits on, under or in between - loosely based on Oscar Wilde.

This year's new play by Theater Normal Gibt's Schon takes on the so-called "better society" - lovingly, cheekily and certainly not entirely seriously.

It's about love. And about society. In other words, everything that is complicated. Who actually loves whom here? And why? And is that even a good idea? What does love do to us - and what do we do to it in return? And let's be honest: why are there still people in our oh-so-modern world who think they are allowed to judge others? Or to paraphrase Chaplin: you need power to do bad things - love is enough for everything else.

Come with us on an entertaining search for clues - with music, wit and charm and the odd "aha moment". We promise: You won't go home any dumber. Maybe just a little more in love with life.

Theater Normal Gibt' s Schon is the theater group of visitors to the Halte-Stelle e.V. contact point in Blücherstraße. Since 2017, they have been creating plays from their own texts, mixed with classics of theater literature and a good portion of music - fresh, lively and always a little different than expected.
