In the organizer's words:

With real people, real bodies and their stories, Caro Gugu, together with 12 photographers, is committed to the acceptance of all bodies and their diversity. Through photography, workshops, talks and much more, the social start-up is encouraging both society and companies to take a stand against "fakes and filters" and in favor of "diversity and authenticity". Genuine diversity is not a mainstream campaign - it is real and needs visibility.

The exhibition can be admired at Café Lozzi from April 30 to May 23, 2024.

Opening hours: Mon-Thu: 11:00 a.m. - 00:00 a.m., Fri: 11:00 a.m. - 01:00 a.m., Sat: 10:00 a.m. - 01:00 a.m., Sun: 10:00 a.m. - 20:00 p.m.

your body is enough-photographers:

About your body is enough

In 2019, initiator Caro Hopp started the photo project dein körper ist genug. After suffering for years from the rejection of her body and bulimia, a photo shoot opened the way to more body acceptance. The response to sharing her journey from body hatred to body love on social media revealed that her story was not unique. This prompted her to make more real people and real bodies visible in photographs.

Since then, the project has been very popular across Germany via Instagram . Caro Gugu, a Berliner by choice, joined the project as a photographer in 2020, took over the organization of new vernissages and established nationwide collaborations with photographers to handle the many requests.

The donation-based heart project enabled more than 150 people of all genders, body shapes, with and without disabilities to make their naked bodies and stories visible in front of the camera. In this way, your body is enough is working with real people, real bodies and real stories for more body love and diversity.

About the initiator

Caro Gugu from Berlin is the budding founder of the holistic body positivity institution dein körper ist genug. She studied human resources and worked in an international context for almost 9 years, specializing in diversity issues, among other things. For dein körper ist genug , she went into photography and trained as a systemic coach (ECA). As an expert in body diversity and love, she will be offering a safe space for all people as a photographer from May 2024 and will lead regular body circles to support people in long-term body acceptance.

Finissage on May 23, 2024

We will celebrate the crowning finale with a (mini) finissage on May 23, 2024. Caro Gugu will host the evening, during which three body stories of the participants will also be shared with the audience in the form of a speech.

Look forward to a real body positivity and art evening that will show you what real people and their bodies look like. An evening that will show you that your body is enough.

You can find more information here.

Images of bodies will be shown, both clothed and unclothed. Intimate areas will be shown uncensored. In addition, stories of the participants are exhibited, which can trigger triggers. The stories are labeled with corresponding references to the trigger categories.

Bodylove Circle on May 25 at Gans Woanders

The Bodylove Circle by dein körper ist genug is a unique safe space that shows you that your body is enough. Under the motto "all bodies welcome", all body shapes, all genders and all people who want to celebrate their bodies are welcome.

No more "too fat, too small, too much or too little" and into being enough.

In a 4-hour workshop, you will learn about simple tools that will bring you closer to your body. Caro Gugu and Jennifer Reissmüller work with elements of bodywork, reflection exercises, systemic observation and an optional bodylove photography session.

Immerse yourself in a transformative experience that will change your perspective and help you recognize the beauty and strength in your body - and in others.
