DEINE NACHBARN make good mood music about bad moods. Singer and guitarist Jannis dissects the madness of capitalist life in his lyrics: the often senselessness of the job, the flight reflex from everyday life, the dark phases in the head - and the bitter irony of a system in which the neighbor sabotages the revolution with the next Amazon order. Why not just set everything on fire and leave?

Between anger, humor and hope, the trio creates songs that are rousing, irritating and comforting at the same time. And they always take a stable stance against the right and social injustice. In January 2025, the first EP "Das klingt jetzt dramatisch" was released, produced by Christian Schilgen (Egotronic, Torsun & The Stereophonics). After successful release shows in Berlin, festival appearances - including at the OpenFlair Festival - and tour stops in southern Germany and Austria, DEINE NACHBARN followed up in March 2025 with a live version of the song "Ungehorsam", together with the great artist YUKA. They were also nominated for the StarFM Nero Award in 2025. Why? "Because they are mega awesome."

On November 14, 2025, the new single "Kaufland" was released, a snotty, melancholy commentary on consumption, the appreciation of work and the call for justice to follow injustice. The debut album "Brandstiftung" will be released on February 13, 2026 on Dackelton Records, once again produced by Christian Schilgen and of course also on vinyl. But not on Amazon, because they ruin everything.
