Delicatessen - Director: Jean-Pierre Jeunet & Marc Caro
A wonderful and grotesque comedy that has delighted us for years with its visual cinematography and music. Jean-Pierre Jeunet's (Amélie) directorial debut shows many ideas here that he continued in later films.
The unemployed clown Louison becomes a janitor in a dilapidated apartment building. Butcher Clapet is particularly pleased, as he has to stuff the stomachs of the tenants and is not afraid to go to extremes.
