Jan Philipp Zymny presents his new book "Den Weltuntergang hätte ich mir doch anders vorgestellt" at the invitation of the Literaturbüro OWL and in cooperation with the ASTA Kulturreferat of Paderborn University and reads classics on request. The event is part of the lila lettern series of events organized by Literaturland Westfalen.

In the period from 2020 to 2023, the unmistakable spirit of the Bochum-based author and comedian has once again produced a number of stage texts, short stories and essays that should be collected in a book and read aloud. In addition, the master of scurrilous nonsense has plenty of classics from his seven book publications in his luggage.

Zymny's 90-minute reading evening promises humor that you won't find anywhere else. If you find ordinary comedy too silly, philosophy too exhausting and cabaret too boring, then you've come to the right place. They say there's a fine line between genius and madness. Be there when someone walks this tightrope. 90 minutes of surreal, intelligent nonsense with a message. You don't think that's possible? Then come along and be proven wrong.
