Denim Day Vol. 2: Jeans gegen Spende, Waffeln und mehr!

In the organizer's words:

Saturday 06.07. is DENIM-DAY again and that means: Today we PRE-cycle!
Many people know and appreciate our work and especially our jeans recycling project.
Together with numerous collection points, we collect jeans for fiber-to-fiber recycling in order to actively save resources and make a statement for a circular economy.
However, it often happens that the donated jeans are not even broken. So we think: why recycle when you can also precycle?
So for a while now, we have been fishing the intact jeans out of the jeans garbage can and putting them aside for DENIM DAY. Today you can donate them to us and wear them until they are really worn out.
So come along to PREcycle!

Today is also about the IGLU itself. We urgently need (regular) donations to be able to continue our work. Because... like so many non-profit organizations, the costs we incur are a real burden! Rent, energy costs, low salaries... it's all too familiar! We need a strong community so that we can continue to be your place in the Agnesviertel for resource-conserving consumption. Through our membership model, we therefore want to operate on a community basis in order to secure ourselves. Are you already a member of the IGLU swap room? Back to DENIM DAY:
This day is framed by coffee, tea and waffles!
So an all-round carefree program :) You are also welcome to bring broken jeans with at least 95% cotton for recycling.
