Denkmaltage 2024 - „Wahr-Zeichen. Zeitzeugen der Geschichte“.

The Heritage Days in Erfurt are celebrating their 31st edition this year. From September 3 to 8, 2024, both well-known and lesser-known monument treasures will be presented to raise awareness of monument protection. Under this year's motto "True Signs", the focus will be on the unique characteristics of monuments and their authenticity. At a time when the boundaries between real and fake and true and false are becoming increasingly blurred, monuments act as reliable witnesses to our history and as objects of identification. This year, numerous Erfurt monuments and buildings will once again open their doors for visits, guided tours, exhibitions and concerts. The Monument Days will be officially opened on September 3 at 6:30 p.m. as part of the exhibition "Care for the existing buildings. Ten strategies for architecture" in the West Hall of the Bahnhallenquartier.
