Backstage - behind the scenes

The 1st FC WiB.OB brings the backstage area onto the stage

And since the women from its ensemble have already gained some experience with the spotlight since 1985, they are giving their party-hungry audience a look behind the scenes at the traditional Oberhausen carnival event by women for women under the direction of Anja Balzer.

In 2026, the ensemble will once again bring a unique theater show to the stage of the Resonanzwerk and show in dances, songs and sketches what drives all the divas, stage goddesses, it-girls, stars and starlets beyond the spotlight, why women should not compare their own backstage area with the stage of others and what really helps against stage fright.

After the show, the dance floor becomes a stage and every woman in the audience becomes the star of her own story when DJ Pattex provides the music for dancing and partying at the party afterwards.

And as always: costumes can. Men can't.
