The sky above Berlin - Wim Wenders
"The Sky Above Berlin" is a movie about two angels, Damiel and Cassiel, who observe human life in West Berlin and experience the beauty and pain of human existence. Damiel falls in love with a trapeze artist and decides to give up his disembodied existence to become human and experience the joys of physical life. The film is known for its poetic visuals and is set shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
