In the organizer's words:
Shanties, folk songs, pop songs, hits, popular songs and everything that is fun to sing. We know no linguistic boundaries. It's all about the communal experience, fun and enjoyment. No previous musical training is required. Participation is free of charge. A hat goes round for our copying costs. Wolfgang Nagel suggests songs, takes suggestions, accompanies on the piano and is not afraid of off-key notes.
