A plant that talks, grows and is hungry: Hungry for human flesh. It comes at just the right time for flower shop employee Seymour. Originally the plant was only supposed to save Mr. Mushnik's business from ruin; now it seems to support the shy botanist in matters of love. Because her lust for human blood helps Seymour to get rid of unwanted love rivals. The goal: to win over her colleague Audrey. So it comes as no surprise when her sadistic friend and dentist Orin mysteriously disappears.
