Mr. Mushnik’s flower shop is doing terribly. When he tells his employees, Seymour and Audrey, that he has to close the shop, Seymour shows him an exotic plant that he’s been secretly tending to for weeks—a carnivorous plant that can’t be found in any field guide. And as soon as it’s displayed in the shop window, curious customers start pouring in. Business is booming. But only Seymour knows the plant’s dark secret. It doesn’t eat flies or mice—it craves blood. Human blood. What Seymour doesn’t know is just how insatiable the plant really is.
