The classic children's book by Otfried Preußler as a play

Kasperl and Seppel give their grandmother a new coffee grinder for her birthday. When it grinds coffee, it plays grandmother's favorite song. But their joy is soon cut short when the grinder is stolen in broad daylight by the dreaded robber Hotzenplotz. Kasperl and Seppel set off in search of the thief. To outwit the robber, they swap hats and make a box that looks like it's full of gold. But the robber Hotzenplotz sees through their plan and takes them both prisoner. He wants Seppel, who he thinks is Punch because of his hat, to work for him. He sells Kasperl, who he thinks is Seppel, to his friend, the great magician Petrosilius Zwackelmann, as a servant for a bag of snuff. There, Kasperl discovers the fairy Amaryllis, who is being held captive and must be freed so that everything can turn out well again. The classic children's book by Otfried Preußler from 1962 becomes adventurous fairytale fun for young and old.
