With bassist Hans Glawischnig, the Temporary Electronic Salon invites one of the most renowned musicians of the HR BigBand to join them on stage on Wednesday, May 6. Hans Glawischnig uses the electronic ambience of the Salon to expand his instrument with numerous effects and create sound sculptures and loops. Even before he achieved fame on the double bass with well-known stars of the jazz world such as Chick Corea or as a member of the Miguel Zenon Quartet, the electric bass was his instrument, which he likes to return to together with Rubow & Leicht.

The acoustic and electric bassist and composer Hans Glawischnig grew up in Graz, Austria. His father, pianist, bandleader of the free jazz group "The Neighbors", teacher and long-time chief conductor of the NDR big band in Hamburg, encouraged Hans to pursue a career in music. His American mother, who had studied art history, was an avid music lover and tireless supporter.
