In 2026, DER TOD is coming to Lünen with his XXL Christmas show. This time, the event will take place in the Hansesaal.

Every year, the Christian world celebrates a birth. Yikes spider, says Death. But because every beginning has an end, this year he personally invites you to a special Christmas version of his award-winning comedy program. After all, he is on a major image campaign and even Death should not be completely closed off to the festival of love. And so scythe cookies are tasted, felled fir trees and roast geese are sung about and gingerbread is outed as discriminatory. In addition to the grim reaper Mautzi, the right hand of death, the live band "Die Höllenhunde" and many new friends will be there to "experience" Christmas in a completely different way together with the audience.
In a black frock and similarly colorful humor, the two-time winner of the Paulaner Solo 2022 and winner of the 1st prize of the Tuttlinger Krähe 2023 as well as author of the book "Mein Leben als Tod" (Fischer-Verlag) addresses his audience, reports on winter sales in the afterlife, shows pictures from his private photo album and sings eerily beautiful Christmas classics that take on a whole new meaning from his mouth. Because even at Christmas, someone like him cannot leave the dark season entirely to life. Death confronts the taboo subject of modern society with wit and charm.
