Der Wald, das Klima und die Biodiversität – Jan Haft im Gasometer Oberhausen

Climate and biodiversity—the fundamental foundations of all life—have been plunged into a deep crisis by our own actions. To counteract this, a societal transformation is needed that, according to Jan Haft, does not mean restriction but expansiveness; not deprivation but abundance.

“We could live in an environment that not only has a positive climate footprint and promotes maximum biodiversity, but also enriches our senses and fosters joyful experiences. To achieve this, we must be willing to question cherished narratives and explore new ways of thinking,” explains Jan Haft. The renowned documentary filmmaker will illustrate how this can be achieved in his engaging lecture on August 26 at the Gasometer in Oberhausen.

With this ticket, you can visit the “Mythos Wald” exhibition on the day of the event from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or, following the lecture, until 11:00 p.m. Please note that for organizational reasons, the Gasometer will be closed and completely cleared of visitors from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Admission begins at 6:30 PM.
