To mark the 250th birthday of the most important painter of German Romanticism, the world's first musical about Caspar David Friedrich delighted the press and the public. His work, which is closely linked to the Saxon region, meets the intense songs of Saxony's most successful pop-rock export SILBERMOND. Between past and present, the story unfolds of an artist whose time did not understand him - and of a young man of today who recognizes himself in Friedrich's most famous paintings.
