"carte jaune!" - In this format, der/gelbe/klang offers guest conductors the opportunity to freely design a program with the ensemble. This time, Emilio Pomàrico, one of the world's most renowned interpreters of new music, is our guest - a sound magician who spans a wide range in this program: It begins lyrically intimate with Ferruccio Busoni's Berceuse élégiaque (subtitle: "Des Mannes Wiegenlied am Sarge seiner Mutter") in the chamber version by Erwin Stein, develops in a steady crescendo through to Rebecca Saunders' "Concerto for Double Bass and Ensemble" entitled Fury II, only to fade away again in the most weighty work of the evening, Asia from the cycle on the four continents after Tiepolo by French composer Hugues Dufourt.
