🐉 Shh, I hear a whisper! Your detective adventure in Detmold
A detective trail is a hands-on treasure hunt: Using the treasure map, you’ll follow a secret route, solve puzzles along the way, and collect clues to crack the code of the treasure chest at the end.
On the Detmold Detective Trail: Whispering Giant Sequoias, Detective Dachs takes you on a rather unusual mission. After all, when do you ever get the chance to encounter a castle dragon and listen to giant sequoias whispering?
Your puzzle hunt begins at the Tourist Information office on the market square. From there, using directions and pictures, you’ll figure out for yourselves where the next clue leads. Your route takes you through Detmold’s Old Town and out into the countryside. At various puzzle stations, you’ll have to look very closely: Which details are important? Where is the solution hidden? And what exactly are the mysterious giant trees trying to tell you?
Detective Dachs will accompany you with exciting and surprising stories about Detmold. This way, you’ll get to know the city—without a boring guided tour, but with plenty of puzzle fun instead!
Each puzzle you solve gives you an important part of the treasure code. If you’ve put it all together correctly, you can open the treasure chest at the end and take home a little surprise.
The Detective Trail is a great outdoor adventure for families with children ages six and up who love to explore, solve puzzles, and go on a treasure hunt together.

Group price: 21 euros (for 1 to 3 people). Each additional person plus 7,- Euro.
