Science Slam Göttingen! German Science Slam Championship 2024

On November 9, the time has finally come: the crème de la crème of the German science slam scene will travel to the annual highlight from North, South, East and West to win the title at the German Science Slam Championship in the Stadthalle Göttingen.

Entertaining - vivid - creative and understandable for everyone

Eight young scientists, who have previously qualified to take part in the German Science Slam Göttingen Championship 2024 as part of a preliminary decision in North, South, East and West, will each present their research on the big stage within ten minutes in an entertaining, vivid, creative and understandable way for everyone - with one clear goal: to win the audience's favor! Be it with an experiment, with a rap or with a laser sword in one hand and a poem in the other. Anything is possible on this evening. And at the end, the audience will decide who will take home the coveted Science Slam Championship title this year. German Science Slam Championship!

The German Science Slam Championship is organized by Manuel Maidorn in cooperation with the Science & Stories team.

We want to make sure that everyone in the audience has an entertaining evening, so a brief but important piece of information in advance: Scientific content is presented at the Science Slam.
