Last May, DeWolff traveled to Muscle Shoals, Alabama (USA) to record their tenth studio album with Grammy award-winning producer Ben Tanner in two legendary studios: FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Heroes such as Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, the Stones, Leon Russell, the Black Keys and hundreds of other legendary artists have recorded world-famous albums in these studios. "You can really feel a kind of rock 'n' roll magic in the air. When we played our first notes there, I got goosebumps: That was exactly the sound I heard on all those classic albums! This was definitely one of the best recording experiences we've ever had. Even the grand piano that Leon Russell used was still there, as was the electric Wurlitzer piano used on 'I Never Loved A Man' by Aretha Franklin!" says Pablo van de Poel.

It will come as no surprise that this tenth DeWolff album shows influences from the rich musical history that was literally written in the same studios 50 years ago. Nevertheless, DeWolff will always sound like DeWolff: a fiery, headstrong steam engine racing straight through its own time zone, leaving you speechless and enchanted at the intersection of blues, soul, psychedelic and southern rock, with a Dutch twist!

The new album will be released on December 7th during the band's own festival, DeWolffest, and immediately afterwards the band will embark on a major European tour.
