The walk leads from Rüdesheim am Rhein train station through the vineyards to St. Hildegard's Abbey: the traditions of the Rupertsberg and Eibingen monasteries founded by Hildegard von Bingen are continued here; a visit to the quarry and monastery garden provides an insight into the history and relationship to Hildegard von Bingen's writings.

With Sr. Christophora Janssen OSB, Benedictine nun of St. Hildegard Abbey and board member of the St. Hildegard-Akademie Eibingen e.V., and Julia Voss, curator of the exhibition "Nature and German History".

Get out of the museum: the exhibition program takes place outside on five dates. On approximately two-hour walks, members of the team and external guests will explore individual themes in greater depth on site: along highway ruins and vineyards, artificially created lakes and castle gardens.
