At 39C3, Marc-Uwe Kling ("Kangaroo Chronicles") proclaimed Digital Independence Day. On the first Sunday of every month, everyone is called upon to switch from big tech offerings to democracy-friendly alternatives. We at Bündnis Privatsphäre Leipzig are supporting the campaign.

On Sunday, February 1, we will be accompanying you in a Linux installation workshop to install Linux on your devices. As always, participation in the event is free of charge and possible without registration. No previous knowledge is required.

Preparation:

• Make a full backup of your system beforehand, or bring a large external hard disk. (It is highly recommended to create the backup beforehand).
• If possible, bring an empty USB stick with at least 4 GB of storage space in addition to your laptop.
• Allow at least 2 hours.

The event will take place at Inspirata.
