DIE ADAM RIESE SHOW
In the organizer's words:
THE ADAM RIESE SHOW
Talk and music with Maxi Gstettenbauer, Simon Scherder, and Benedikt Eichhorn
On September 6, the Adam Riese Show will become a playground for true pros. Comedy, sports, and music come together on stage: Comedian Maxi Gstettenbauer, known from radio and TV, will delight the audience with his dark humor, while Simon Scherder, the unshakable center back for SC Preußen Münster, will rock the field. Benedikt Eichhorn will provide musical highlights on the piano. Singer Nikola Materne will join the show band and round out the feel-good show with her vocals. To make sure all the stars feel right at home, show assistant Jens Heinrich Claassen will once again provide perfect support.
Comedian Maxi Gstettenbauer has been one of the most influential voices in the young stand-up scene in the German-speaking world for years. When he combines sharp social commentary, nerd culture, and personal anecdotes, he strikes a chord with an increasingly digitized society. He proved in 2022 that behind the humorous lumberjack lies a man of depth with his courageous bestseller *My Depression Is Your Depression*. Last year, he followed that up with his book *11.5 Rules for Your Most Successful Life: Self-Help from a Guy Who Has No Clue Either*.
Simon Scherder is the first active soccer player from SC Preußen Münster to appear as a guest on Adam Riese’s show. When chants of “Simon Scherder, soccer god!” echo through the Preußenstadion, everyone knows: things are about to get solid on defense—and a little emotional in the stands.
While others are still trying to figure out the punchline, Benedikt Eichhorn has long since set it to music. His best-known “playing field” is his collaboration with Thomas Pigor. Since 1995, the motto on stages from the North Sea to the Alps has been: “Pigor sings, Benedikt Eichhorn has to accompany him.” What sounds like a division of labor is, in reality, a perfectly choreographed duet full of wordplay, musical finesse, and rhythmic surprises.
Singer Nikola Materne will join the show band Markus Paßlick and his Original Pumpernickel on September 6 to round out the feel-good show with her vocals. To ensure all the stars feel right at home, show assistant Jens Heinrich Claassen will once again provide perfect support. And the schedule remains the same: The show now always starts at 7 p.m.
