DIE BREMER STADTMUSIKANTEN

Ochsenfurt! Ochsenfurt! I said town, not cluster of houses!
How about ... Bremen! There's something going on there, you can make money!

As pets and farm animals, they no longer fit into the life intended for them: The donkey is too old, the load is too heavy, the dog isn't purebred enough, the cat isn't interested in hunting mice and the rooster is just annoying. The four of them are forced to leave their home and take their fate into their own paws, hooves or even claws. Fortunately, apart from their desire to stay alive, they share a unifying passion: music! The donkey loves Chopin and likes to hit the keys, the dog plays flamenco on his guitar, the cat fiddles on a violin and the rooster signals protest on his trumpet. Nobody knows yet how it all fits together. But their big dream is to move to Bremen as town musicians and become famous there. They are supported by a scatterbrained squirrel with only moderate managerial skills, but a big appetite. So the newly formed band sets off on the road to fame. It's a long road, however, and as dusk falls, they need a place to sleep. The forest is unfamiliar and rather uncomfortable, there are bears and other creatures with obscure intentions - the only hut they find is occupied by robbers. The four of them have to think of something, because sleeping out in the open in the wilderness is out of the question for our highly talented, musical mini-artists! After all, they are stars, even if nobody knows it yet!
