Exhibition opening and book presentation: The Other View

The Brost Foundation invites you to the exhibition opening and book presentation of the project "The Other View" in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

What happens when the Ruhr region is viewed from an unusual perspective? When familiar places, people and stories become visible anew through an outside perspective?

This is exactly where the project "The Other View" comes in. With the Cuban artist duo Arian and Jesús Irsula, the Brost Foundation has invited visual artists to the Ruhr region for the first time, who have spent several months intensively exploring the region and developing their own artistic approaches. At the end of their stay, the resulting works will now be presented to the public for the first time.

What you can expect

You can look forward to the photographic works of Arián Irsula, who explores the Ruhr region with microscopic images from unusual angles, as well as literary insights by Jesús Irsula, who has processed his observations and experiences in a publication.
