Singer, actress, writer - Hildegard Knef was one of the most dazzling personalities of the 20th century. From Berlin to Hollywood, she was always at the center of show business and an early citizen of the world. She defied conventions and constantly reinvented herself. From growing up under National Socialism to becoming a young UFA film star, scandals in post-war Germany to her success on Broadway and as a chanson singer - her life was a constant up and down between fame and personal suffering.

Moritz Stetter paints a multifaceted portrait of an extraordinary artist who became immortal with "Für mich soll's rote Rosen regnen". Together with Matthias Wieland, he presents his comic in a multimedia reading on a large movie screen with plenty of music and a subsequent artist talk and signing session.
