Who doesn't know the adventures of the three detectives Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw and Bob Andrews from Rocky Beach? They have already experienced countless adventures together. What will happen this time?

It's summer in Rocky Beach. Peter is once again having a row with his girlfriend because he is spending too much time on the Three?? cases and too little on his relationship. Peter wants to smooth things over with a day at the beach (and ride a few waves on the side). But then a boy is seriously injured. Peter just manages to save him from drowning. "Find Finnley! He's in danger," he says to Peter with the last of his strength. Who is Finnley? And what danger is he in?

The Three ??? take up the investigation and embark on a fast-paced search all over Rocky Beach. They encounter a mysterious pursuer, are disgusted and find strange notes. Will they manage to find Finnley in time and solve the case? The race against time has begun.
