He stands there once again. Like so often. Like all those years. With the engine running, parking lights and that very special anxiety in the air before every departure. You know what's coming - and yet everything is different this time: Die Fantastischen Vier are announcing a very special tour with "Der letzte Bus". After more than three decades of band history, more than a thousand concerts and countless nights on the tour bus, the quartet is going on one last big trip - with everything that goes with it: a big stage, a brand new show and brilliant musicians.

36 years of hip-hop history: an era comes to an end

This tour is a chapter that brings together everything that has gone before - a look back at over 36 years of nightliners, spotlights and choruses that have shaped entire generations. It is the story of a band that wrote German music history, co-founded an entire genre and had a significant influence with their label Four Music, founded in the mid-90s, and the associated booking agency Four Artists.

Today, the Fantastischen Vier are still the same four pioneers who helped hip-hop make its breakthrough in Germany. In 1991, they released "Jetzt Geht's Ab", the first German-language hip hop album, before achieving a historic coup the following year with "Die da!?!?", the first German-language rap formation to make it into the top ten of the charts and be played up and down on the radio.

Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck and And.Ypsilon proved that German-language rap can be authentic, intelligent, humorous and popular with the masses. They were one of the few bands from Germany to release albums that reached the top of the charts over the course of four decades - another testament to their relevance and creativity. With hits such as "MFG", "Troy", "Sie ist weg", "Tag am Meer" and "Zusammen", they have created the soundtrack for several generations, filling arenas, stadiums and open airs.

And at the same time, "Der letzte Bus" is a departure: once again across the country. Once again full throttle through the republic. Once again lights, noise and love. Once again 4 cities in 4 days - mammoth logistics, night shifts on the highway. And all this for at least 18 months in order to make as many stops as possible that the band has already visited.

For all those who say: "I've never seen them live." Or: "It's been far too long since the last time." For everyone who wants to know why this has always been more than just music. For everyone who is part of this unprecedented story - or wants to be. And for everyone who feels that this moment is not coming back.
