The 2027 Finals in Stuttgart:
16 German Championships at nine venues
ARD and ZDF will broadcast live on TV and via streaming over four days

The 2027 Finals will take place in Stuttgart from July 29 to August 1. According to current plans, 16 German championships will be held at nine venues in the capital of Baden-Württemberg. 

Sports already being planned for The Finals 2027 include artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, swimming, speed climbing, 3x3 basketball, BMX (with the disciplines of flatland, park, and race), as well as triathlon and canoeing. Discussions are underway with the German Athletics Federation regarding the possible relocation of an athletics discipline to Stuttgart.

Many sports will take place in unusual locations, close to the people and right in the heart of the city. Beach volleyball in the Ehrenhof courtyard of the New Palace, breaking in front of the State Opera House, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) on the Neckar River, and 3x3 basketball on the market square. The Porsche Arena, the outdoor pool at NeckarPark, and the BMX park will also serve as venues for the Finals in Stuttgart. An overview of all currently planned sports and venues is listed below.
