Minusch urgently needs a home. Women don't live on the street. So she sneaks into the attic apartment of young Mr. Tibbe, but he's not doing well at all and a strange visitor is just what he needs. He is not very successful as a journalist. Now his boss is giving him one last chance to write a good story. Too bad he can't think of anything. But someone like Minusch, who roams around, finds out a lot. She provides Tibbe with plenty of topics for his articles. And lo and behold: his boss likes it, the readers think his articles are great and the girl Bibi, two floors down, even becomes a real fan of the journalist. Lucky for Tibbe. Bibi also quickly makes friends with Minusch. Then the three of them get on the trail of an environmental scandal and from then on it gets really exciting.

The crime comedy is based on the classic Dutch children's book of the same name by the "Dutch Astrid Lindgren", Anna Maria Geertrudia Schmid, and is a touching and funny story about the experiences of a young woman who is actually a cat. The cinematic adaptation is a beautifully told story about friendship and being "different". Lovingly designed from the ground up and stringently told, with wonderful charm, lovingly drawn characters and amazing animation - an almost perfect children's film with wit, suspense and a bit of romance.
