Man and nature painted and sewn together, interwoven. On 11.07. Rhea Kropp opens her exhibition "Mundraub" in the Giraffentoast Gallery. It features an interplay of figurative paintings and individual textile elements. Charged with an underlying symbolism that allows references to cultural references and psychological observations to shine through. Rhea Kropp explores man in nature and nature in man. A common, simultaneous story in which one cannot be separated from the other. She combines open brushstrokes and a free translation of classic needlework techniques such as embroidery and sewing, which merge and echo each other both on the canvas and in objects.
