The nude
the depiction of the nude human being, is a traditional motif in Western art. From antiquity to the present day, nude sculpture, nude painting and nude drawing can be admired in the work of great artists. This art is not just made up as you go along, but requires a great deal of artistic education and discipline in study.
The nude is the supreme discipline of drawing!
Group show
with works by Heike Clement, Thomas Eisele, Sherif el Sioufy, Stefanie Habighorst, Torsten Kleiner, Laurent K., Alice Lister, Jutta Orth, Susanne Przetak, Sabine Raun, Isabelle Virlogeux-Söll, Britta Weigelt, Fabian Zahradnyik.
In this exhibition, works are shown that were produced in the evening studio of Joachim Klar, where the participating artists have been working for years. We are showing professional and high-quality drawings in various formats with the participants' very personal view of the naked human body.
"With the greatest diligence, the outlines of each body and the way in which it twists and turns are taken into consideration. It is judged by this winding whether the twists are of a circular curvature or an angular bend." LEONARDO DA VINCI
We look forward to your visit,
