The new KIEZKLUB production asks: Who is working too little here?

"We have to work more again in Germany!" demands the Chancellor. But how lazy is Neukölln really?

Nine Berliners come together at Heimathafen as a temporary office community and get involved in the current discussion about work and the welfare state. They talk about their everyday lives in hospital, at the EU, in daycare, on the citizen's allowance or in the trade union. Why is work with machines worth more than work with people? Why is working with your head worth more than working with your hands?

Caught between hustle culture, secret confessions and existential angst, Berliners sometimes dream themselves into a cozy office job. Then the workforce turns into real idlers: do we have to learn to be lazy again? Can we fight meritocracy from the coffee kitchen? But for now, let's take a disco break and then we'll really go 'Rambo Zambo'.
